New energy skateboard chassis

Integrating R&D, casting, machining, and marketing, we have an annual production capacity of over 40,000 tons. We produce more than 3,600 models of safety brake discs and hubs annually, totaling over 2 million units, with annual sales exceeding 100 million yuan.

  • Commodity name: New energy skateboard chassis
  • Product Description
  • The concept of the new-energy skateboard chassis can be traced back as early as 2002, when General Motors unveiled a hydrogen fuel-cell concept car called “Hy-wire” at the North American Auto Show. This vehicle applied fly-by-wire technology—originally developed for the aviation industry—to automobiles, replacing mechanical components for acceleration, braking, and steering with electronic controls. With its highly integrated and flat chassis, as well as a decoupled design that separates the body from the chassis, the Hy-wire laid the foundation for what would later become the skateboard chassis.

    Structural features

Highly integrated design: Key functional modules such as CTC batteries, suspension systems, and steering systems are deeply integrated into a flattened chassis structure. For example, CATL’s “Panshi” chassis adopts CTC technology, directly integrating battery cells into the chassis structure, thereby enhancing chassis rigidity and improving space utilization.

Wire-controlled chassis technology: This technology widely adopts wire-controlled drive, wire-controlled braking, and wire-controlled steering, replacing traditional mechanical connections with electronic signal transmission. As a result, the vehicle’s handling response becomes more sensitive and precise, and it also lays the hardware foundation for realizing autonomous driving functions.

Modularity and Standardization: By providing standardized electrical and body interfaces, the vehicle’s upper and lower bodies can be designed separately, enabling support for a variety of body styles. Different vehicle models can share the same chassis platform, thereby enhancing the overall design flexibility of the vehicle.
